It is set up to be very simple, and honestly very user friendly, but a bit boring. Listings are beginning to look more and more generic over time, with little variation in styles or colors of the listings.
This is both good and bad. On one hand it levels the playing field for those who are new to the process, but in the same breath it also wipes out any of the unique selling techniques formerly used. In any case, it is important to note that the Ebay selling system is really very user friendly and intended to be used by all. And even those who have not ever created a text link or used html, can do so with ease in this new system.
