Google's AdWords pay per click advertising is the search engine's main source of revenue, which reportedly generated over $16 billion during 2007 and put the search engine in front of its competitors in terms of profitability and popularity.

The Google AdWords pay per click advertising method caught on with online business owners and now, it's an acceptable advertising model if you want your business to succeed online.
