Google is one of the rare success story from the days of the initial dot com era and has gone on to become one of the most successful companies in the United States. In a world where people are crazily looking for information, the company has become the dominant search engine and is likely to continue to be so. It is not surprising that people are intrigued and really want to hear the novelty known as Google explained.

Each day, billions of searches are conducted on the Internet by people who are looking for information on a variety of products or services, answers to questions and solutions to their problems. The ubiquitous search engine has become the way for people to seek this information and has clearly overtaken traditional methods of search due to its accessibility and ease of use.

Google is so far ahead of its nearest competitor that it is estimated that 65 to 70% of all searches take place within its platform. No surprise that people are looking to see Google explained and find out how it works. This is especially true when it comes to the world of search engine optimization, where webmasters would dearly like to know the ins and outs.

If you are trying to sell products or services online, then you must get very familiar with Google as it is an essential partner for you. You must make a regular effort to maintain your site and to understand how the process works if you want to ensure that your product or service gets in front of the appropriate prospects.

You must ensure that your site is well composed and presented and basically make sense to the search engines. If the engines visit your site and find that the material contained therein is not really educational or informative in relation to the keyword that you are trying to rank for, then they will not display very highly. The Internet is all about the exchange of valuable information and this is how Google explained their philosophy to the industry at large.

Many volumes have been written about Google and its importance in the world of Internet marketing. For those who are new to the arena, there's a lot to be learned and it is highly recommended that you consider Internet marketing membership sites that are dedicated to SEO and other areas that you need to get a good grasp on before you are likely to succeed.

Before you set out to create a website, understand that there are many technical aspects that you will need to learn. Once you understand these, your website must be created appropriately, with multiple pages which are all linked and relative and each of which has top quality and informative copy within.

One of the worst things you can do is to fall for some of those "black hat" procedures which are designed to create a shortcut to success. Google explained recently that they are now quite sophisticated and that their algorithms are perfectly capable of determining what is above the fold and what is below.
