Until recently, if you wanted to watch a movie, a trip to a video store like blockbuster was your only option. You can now save a trip to the video store and download movies right off the internet. Below is a sample of some of the movies you can find using movie download sites.

Educating Rita: This is an amusing adaptation of Willy Russell's level play in reference to a youthful working class spouse who desires to better herself, and chooses boozy professor Caine as her mentor. Walters is phenomenal in her film debut performing her role and Caine has one of his best roles as her mentor. Cast includes Michael Caine, Julie Walters, Michael Williams, Maureen Lipman, Jeananne Crowley, and Malcolm Douglas. (110 minutes, 1983)

Dennis The Menace: This is a movie version of the 1950's comic strip. With his parents out of town Dennis is staying with the neighbors Mr. and Mrs. Wilson. As usual Dennis is making life miserable for poor Mr. Wilson.

Sign of the Times: A punchy Prince film shot in Rotterdam and Minnesota, characteristics thirteen numbers, some overhead photography and lots of bump and grind from both genders. Stolen to some degree by megastar drummer Sheila E. Cast includes Prince, Sheila E., Sheena Easton, Dr. Fink, Mike Weaver, Levi Seacer Jr., Wally Safford, Gregory Allen Brooks, and Boni Boyer. (85 minutes, 1987)

King of Jazz: Million dollar musical revue, shot in 2-color Technicolor format, is filled with bigger-than-life production numbers and remarkable melodies. Highlights contain Walter Lantz's animation pattern, Joe Venuti's swing violin, youthful Bing Crosby with the Tempo Boys, and, obviously, Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" which in early Technicolor is more a rhapsody in turquoise. Cast includes Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra, John Boles, Jeanette Loff, The Tempo Boys Bing Crosby, Al Rinker, and Harry Barris. (93 minutes, 1930)

La Promesse: Harrowing story of a boy being brought up by a dad who ruthlessly capitalizes on, unlawful immigrants as their assumed savior, and master. Trouble starts while the boy, who unconditionally obeys his dad unquestioningly, creates a bond with one of the illegal immigrants. Moving in its understated, we watch a young boy struggle with tough ethical issues. Cast includes Jeremie Renier, Olivier Gourmet, Assita Ouedraogo, and Rasmane Ouedraogo. (93 minutes, 1996)

Night of the Blood Monster: Lee is fine as Magistrate Jeffrey's who is a vicious judge presiding over "Bloody Assizes" after the Monmouth Revolt opposing Baron James II. The film itself is monotonous and grisly. Cast includes Christopher Lee, Maria Schell, Leo Genn, Maria Rohm, and Margaret Lee. (84 minutes, 1970)

Holiday: First rendition of Philip Barry's play in reference to non-conformity is a delightful film. An untidy early talkie with projecting that in some cases Astor, Owsley even tops the more renowned 1938 rendition. Horton plays the identical role in both films. Cast includes Ann Harding, Robert Ames, Mary Astor, Edward Everett Horton, Hedda Basket, and Monroe Owsley. (96 minutes, 1930)

Ricochet: Nick Styles is now the assistant DA of Los Angeles. Years ago, as a rookie cop, he helped put master criminal Earl Talbot Blake behind bars. Now Blake has escaped from prison. He has only one thing on his mind, revenge.

Good Guys Wear Black: Norris hops feet first through a windshield and proceeds to rearrange the face of bellman Backus, all in the name of nationwide security. Stupid political paranoia thriller passes time effortlessly enough. Cast includes Chuck Norris, Anne Archer, James Franciscus, Lloyd Haynes, Dana Andrews, and Jim Backus.(100 minutes, 1979)
