Have you heard all of the buzz going around about press releases but are not exactly sure how this can benefit you and your company? Then you need to read this article and discover some of the ideas that people will write a press release about. Many people are lost when it comes time to write their press release and don't have a clue about what to make as their topic for a press release.

Back when it was hoped that a press release would be picked up by a member of the press and published so that thousands of people would be able to see this and decide to go and visit your business. This basic concept is still in place, but these days it is a more effective tool that is used in the world of marketing your business. These days anybody can put out a press release about anything that is going on at their company.

If you are sitting there and saying that you have nothing to write about in your press release then you are mistaken and taking the wrong approach to the whole thing completely. Stop putting your press release into a pre-fit box and instead let it be more of a news article, this approach will allow you to have a better perspective as to what to put in your press release. The following are just a couple of ideas that you will be able to use in your press releases.

1. Maybe you are announcing a new venture in your company. This would be the ideal place and method upon which to announce this.

2. Are you ready to launch a new product line? The a press release is ideal for such an announcement. Making the announcement of a new partnership between two individuals and or companies.

3. If your company has received an award in the recent weeks or months.

4. maybe you and you company are offering a series of articles for publishing and are wanting to announce this.

These are just a few of the things that you will want to publish a press release for as these are milestones in your company and you will want to share all of these with the rest of the world.

Press releases are a wonderful way to get the message that you have out to the public and to let them know that an event in your company has recently occurred and therefore you are making an announcement as such.

The Art of Viral Marketing - Start a Buzz on the Digital Grapevine

By Veronica Carrillo

In this article I want to talk about something that has personally brought a lot of money into my pocket over the years. It's something you can do over a weekend that can continue to make you money in your sleep. So often on the Internet we see "get rich quick" products. "Sit back and watch the money roll in"....or my favorite.... "All you have to do is cash the checks as they arrive in the mail!"....

Also, you may be given real estate leads from other Realtors that do not sell homes in the territory you work in. (It may be too far of a drive, not that Realtor's niche, etc.) Focus on the area you want to sell homes in. This way you will get to know the area and/or surrounding areas very well. You will come to know the styles of the homes and how to price the homes.

YouTube video that had you in stitches is being viewed by several of your closest friends. Much like a medical or computer virus, its effects reach far and wide without any specific, linear pattern. It can literally take over. As viral marketing has this same widespread effect, just imagine what it can do for increasing the visibility of your business.

"Yeah Jason great....but give me an example!" Sure thing! A great example of Viral Marketing is the eBook. You can write yourself a little ebook on whatever you're selling. Load it with as much useful information as you can. Also put many references to products you're selling or web sites you own in the ebook. Then at the end of your eBook, put a reseller license. This is just a page that says basically "I give you permission to give this eBook away for free or to sell it and keep all the profits".

Next, head over to google and do a search for "Ebook Directories" (type it in just like that). You'll get a list of thousands of sites that allow you to upload your free eBook. People use these eBook directories to search for free eBooks. Spend a few days uploading your free eBook to these directories....then sit back and wait for people to start downloading your eBook. Some of the people who download and read your eBook will then give it away to people from their own web sites...who will read it and give it away to people at their web sites (remember the free license you included)...and suddenly you've got viral marketing.

To keep this same exclusive feeling, the video or information that you are marketing is best kept anonymous. It does not even need to be about the specific product, but can just be an entertaining or controversial posting that gets people talking. By doing this, people feel like they have stumbled upon a "find" and begin to share it with a select few, who then pass it to another exclusive group. Once enough buzz has been created, the actual product can be revealed. By this point, there has been so much free promotion, that any nominal cost in setting up your viral marketing is far outweighed by your sales.
