Optimizing With Keywords
Keywords are the most common words used to describe what your site is about. If you are still unsure about keywords, just imagine you were someone looking for a site just like yours, what word or words would you use to search for it. The words used most commonly used to search for certain things are keywords. If you have a blog about dog breeding you may use keywords like dog, canine and puppy. You might also want to use keyword strings like breeding dogs, canine breeding, new born puppies.
SEO Over Optimization
When you are optimizing your site with some solid keywords. You be careful not to over optimize your website. Over optimization occurs when people use a keyword too often. There should be no keywords or keyword strings that appears on your site or any given post on your site more than six to seven percent of the time. You should also avoid using the same keyword too densely in any given part of your website. For example, you have made your first dog breeding post and it contains four paragraphs, each of these paragraphs contain four sentences. The keyword dog makes up only five percent of your post but only in the first paragraph, this is an example of over using SEO. If your site is over optimized there is a chance it could be considered a spam site and that search engine bots could completely over look it or even mark it to be banned.
